Want to try a scent before committing to a full bottle? Here’s a quick guide to decants.
What is a decant?
A decant is a smaller portion of an authentic perfume that is carefully transferred from an original bottle into a clean atomizer (for example: 2ml, 5ml, 10ml). The fragrance itself is original—only the container is different.
How we prepare decants
- Authentic source: Filled from genuine perfumes sold by Florensa Store.
- Clean atomizers: We use clean, sterile atomizers and handle the filling carefully to minimize exposure.
- Measured by volume: Decants are filled by ml. The bottle may have headspace; volume (ml) is what matters, not how “full” it looks.
- Labeling: Each decant is labeled to identify the fragrance and size. The label and bottle style may vary.
What’s different from retail bottles?
- Packaging: Decants do not come with the brand’s original retail box or presentation.
- Bottle: The atomizer/bottle is a standard decant bottle, not the brand bottle.
- Presentation: Branding elements (caps, plaques, fancy boxes) are not included—this is about experiencing the scent.

- Try expensive niche or designer fragrances for less.
- Test wear in real life before buying a full bottle.
- Travel-friendly sizes that fit easily in a bag.
- Build a scent wardrobe without committing to full sizes.
Storage & use tips
- Keep cool: Store away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
- Keep sealed: Close the atomizer cap tightly to reduce evaporation.
- Avoid shaking: Normal handling is fine—no need to shake.

Returns for decants
Because decants are custom-prepared and considered a hygiene-sensitive fragrance product, decants are not returnable or exchangeable for change-of-mind, preference, or scent expectations.
We only accept a replacement or refund in these cases:
- Wrong item/size: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos.
- Damaged or leaking on arrival: Report within 24 hours with clear photos and a short video so we can investigate with the courier.
